Your bonus is paid directly into your Athena redraw or offset account within 30 days of the eligible loan's settlement date. From there, you can transfer it out or keep it in the offset to pay the loan down faster.

Yes. Athena allows self-referrals when you're applying for a new Athena loan, whether you're refinancing from another lender or setting up a new loan for a property purchase. Submit the application with code ATH-10933 and settle the loan to qualify.
Yes. Athena's Ultimate$ Referral program explicitly permits sharing referral codes publicly. Athena's own FAQ states that if you run out of friends and family to refer, you're welcome to share your code on social media, forums, or other public channels. This code is a valid personal referral code.
The most common reason is that the referral code wasn't entered on the application. Athena can only pay the bonus when a new customer applies and settles with the referral code in place. If the code was missed at application, it can't be added later.
